Models

The collection of the Museum of the fishing, which counts more than 150 models, constituted at first thanks to the donations of collectors and to the patience of amateur model makers.

The workshop of model making of the Museum is created in 1979. Joël Barzic, professional model maker, realizes a part of mockups and dioramas of the Museum there since 1984. The quality of the models of the Museum attracts numerous designers: since the 1960s, plans are edited in their intention.

At present, both model makers of the Museum work on the manufacture of a 3D plan of Concarneau in 2001, which will match the two others representing the city and its port in 1912 and in 1967 - 1968.
